About the Bakelite Wall Light:

• The wall light easily complements both modern and traditional interiors.
• The shade is made from genuine bakelite, and is proudly made in Australia using the original molds and machinery of the 1930’s. Bakelite was a material traditionally used in shades used by flower growers as they could withstand high wattage globes without melting when strung over fields or hung in greenhouses.
• Shades available in black or white. If you want to experiment with shade and sconce combinations, you could pair one of our other  (several colours available) with our wall sconce. Please  to arrange.
• The bakelite shade is 210mm in diameter and 70mm high.
• The steel sconce comes in black, gold/brass and white finishes.
• The steel wall arm features a 45° adjustable swivel lampholder. To adjust the knuckle the wing nut screw needs to be loosened slightly. The knuckle is not to be adjusted with the wing nut still tightened in place.
• The lampholder takes a standard bayonet (B22) bulb. Max 40W.
