About the Schoolhouse Pendant Light - Portland: 

• The glass shade exhibits a distinctive, Schoolhouse-style form with its large opal glass shade with classic 1930s aesthetic.
• The opal glass shade provides diffused lighting and will fit a light bulb with a maximum diameter of diameter of 60mm.
• The glass shade is blown glass. Bubbles, lines, slight surface imperfections or discolouration are characteristics of this type of glass. They are not considered defects. 
• The shade is paired with a chain saw suspension cords that comes in black or white.
  
• The chain saw suspension gives option to counteract the difference in the glass shade weight bias. It has a maximum drop of 2.1 metres which is easily shortened as required. 
• The shades are fitted to the lampholder with a metal gallery. All cords are paired with a matching gallery.
  
• The wooden mounting block pictured can be purchased separately . Select the 12cm version from the drop down menu for this fitting.
